New building designed by rafael moneo, one of the most acclaimed spanish architects, who made such important works as the extension of the thyssen museum and the tate gallery. It is a recently built hotel with spa and designed in a unique style, winner of the pritzker prize 1996. Designed around light and airy spaces, noted for its avant-garde interiors made of basalt, glass, painted black and white, and concrete, with an atmosphere of contemporary art, and using foreign materials such as stainless steel, glass and roman travertine marble.
